The Decorah Womxn's March "We Dissent" is scheduled Saturday, Oct. 17, to honor the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s legacy, to dissent her replacement in 2020, and to rally for equity and justice for all.

Those interested in gathering should meet for "We Dissent" beginning at 11:45 a.m. at Mary Christopher Park at the east end of Water Street, and march through the downtown district, ending at the Winneshiek County Courthouse steps for music and speakers. Masks will be required for everyone participating over the age of 2 years old. Social distance of 6-feet or more at all times, is required, unless marching with your own family. Participants are urged to wear black in reverence to Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Signs for equity, justice and democracy are encouraged. Signs should be in good taste, according to organizers.
